In Memoriam Allison Jackson Foy - July 30th 2006 (age 34) On Wednesday September 10th, 2008 at 4pm my family and I were notified that our long two year search for our missing loved one was finally over. Remains found off of Carolina beach Road in Wilmington NC just about 3 miles from where she was last seen were identified as Allison through DNA testing. At this time my family and I would like to thank all of you whom have been on this journey with us. The outpouring of love, prayers, encouragement and support from family, friends and even strangers as been overwhelming to say the least. You have all made this path that we have traveled much easier, just knowing that others cared and were walking with us helped more than any of you will ever know. God has truly blessed us with your presence and in doing so has blessed Allison. Allison; words will never be enough to say how deeply you are loved and missed, and the void that now fills our hearts. In your short life you have many things to be proud of, but your legacy is truly your two beautiful amazing children Courtney and Jordan! You live on in them and they have so much of you in them. I know it is a much better place that you go to, and that you are now finally able to rest and be at peace. I know too, that we will see each other again, and what a celebration that will be indeed. Though our time here on earth was short together I am so thankful for it and am blessed to be able to call you my sister! As we close the chapter we do not close the book, and we will continue to persevere and fight for the truth and justice, and we will once again not give up until we have answers! We will fight the good fight knowing that God is with us. Please continue to pray for us all during this time and once again thank you to all who have stood with us. This site will remain up as a tribute to Allison and her story as well as standing for all the other missing in this country that deserved to be found and brought home! There will be a memorial service for Allison in the coming weeks in Oyster Bay L.I. In lieu of flowers we are asking that donations be made in Allison's name to: CUE Center for Missing Persons.
